John Ionescu

My best friend was John Ionescu.  He just finished soloing the north face of Robson a few weeks ago and you posted his feat on your website.  John died on Saturday after a 20m fall on Bonanza in the Ghost.  John was a good man, and a great friend

On my wedding day John gave me a copy of Pushing the Limits.  Inside the cover he wrote, "Hope to push your limits as far as you can, and have lots of fun".
