Phyllis Diller M10-, 18m

FA: Dave Thomson, Sean Isaac Dec 2001

Phyllis Diller is located in the Killer Cave behind the ice climb Killer Pillar at the far end of the Stanley Headwall. It climbs out the back of the cave past 13 bolts in about 13 meters of horizontal (and sometimes downwards) dry tooling to gain the usually unformed ice of Killer Pillar. At the top of the ice blob, 2 more bolts protect the slabby rock moves to the 2-bolt anchor.

wg note--This is certainly the steepest (it actually slopes down for a fair ways) mixed route around. It's worth checking out just to see the wild ice stalagmites in the back of the cave.
